The Doha Metro system is a modern, driverless rapid transit network that forms a vital part of Qatar’s public transportation infrastructure, designed for efficiency and comfort. It currently comprises three operational lines: the Red Line (Coastal Line), the Green Line (Education Line), and the Gold Line (Historic Line). These lines connect 37 stations across the city, linking key areas such as Hamad International Airport, Lusail City, Education City, Souq Waqif, and various business districts. Plans are also underway for a future Blue Line and further extensions, aiming to expand the network to approximately 100 stations and enhance connectivity throughout Doha and its suburbs.
